Kuhnhenn Brewing Company
2027 Mug Club Membership — Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: October 1, 2026 Membership Term: January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027 Last Revised: October 1, 2026
Welcome to the Kuhnhenn Brewing Mug Club. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Member," "you") and Kuhnhenn Brewing Company, LLC ("Kuhnhenn," "we," "us," "our"). Please read them in full before purchasing. By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Memberships are sold and administered through the Oznr platform, operated by Next Glass, Inc. Oznr acts as our sales and redemption platform. This agreement is between you and Kuhnhenn Brewing Company; Oznr is not a party to it.
1. Eligibility
1.1 Age. Members must be 21 years of age or older. A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID is required to purchase a membership and to receive any alcoholic beverage benefit.
1.2 One membership per person. Memberships are personal to the named Member. Each individual may hold one membership.
1.3 Oznr account required. Benefits are verified and redeemed through the Oznr app. An active Oznr account registered in the Member's own name is required to hold a membership and receive benefits.
1.4 Discretion. Kuhnhenn reserves the right to decline or cancel any enrollment at our discretion, including where these Terms have previously been breached. Where we decline an enrollment for reasons other than Member breach, the fee will be refunded in full.
2. Term, Enrollment, and Availability
2.1 Membership term. The 2027 membership is valid from January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027, and expires automatically at the close of business on December 31, 2027.
2.2 Presale and priority access. Memberships are offered first to 2026 Members in good standing during a priority window beginning October 1, 2026. Any remaining memberships are released to the general public on November 1, 2026. Priority access is an opportunity to purchase, not a reserved membership; it lapses if not exercised before the general release date.
2.3 Limited availability. The number of memberships is capped. Memberships are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and enrollment closes when the cap is reached.
2.4 Enrollment after January 1, 2027. If memberships remain available after the term begins, they may be sold during the year. Benefits commence on the date of purchase and end on December 31, 2027. The membership fee is not prorated for a partial year.
3. Fees and Payment
3.1 Membership fee. The 2027 membership fee is $100.00, plus applicable Michigan sales tax and Oznr platform fees. The total charged at checkout is shown before you confirm your purchase.
3.2 Payment terms. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase and is processed by Oznr. Kuhnhenn does not store or process your payment card details.
3.3 Non-refundable. Except as expressly stated in Sections 1.4 and 7.4, the membership fee is
non-refundable and non-cancellable, including where a membership is later suspended or revoked, where a Member is unable to use their benefits, or where benefits are modified under Section 4.7.
3.4 No automatic renewal. Memberships do not auto-renew. No recurring charge is placed on your payment method. Renewal for 2028 requires a new purchase.
3.5 Gift purchases. A membership may be purchased as a gift. The recipient must be 21 or older and must register the membership to their own Oznr account before first use. Once registered, the standard non-transferability rules in Section 4.2 apply.
3.6 No cash value. Memberships and member benefits carry no cash value and may not be resold, auctioned, traded, or exchanged.
4. Member Benefits
4.1 Published benefits. Members are entitled to the benefits published on the Kuhnhenn Mug Club listing on Oznr and at kbrewery.com as of the date of purchase. The published benefits list is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
4.2 Member must be present; no sharing. Benefits apply only to the registered Member, who must be present and must present their digital membership card on request, together with a valid photo ID. Benefits may not be redeemed by, transferred to, or applied to the purchase of another person. Sharing a membership is grounds for revocation without refund under Section 7.
4.3 Locations. Unless a benefit is expressly designated as location-specific in the published benefits list, benefits are honored at both the Warren and Clinton Township taprooms. Location-specific benefits are honored only at the location named.
4.4 Draft pour benefit. Beers sold as standard 14 oz pours are served to Members as 20 oz pours at the 14 oz price, in glassware provided by Kuhnhenn. Beers sold as 10 oz pours — including high-gravity, barrel-aged, and specialty offerings — remain 10 oz pours and are not upgraded. Kuhnhenn determines the standard pour size and the glassware used for each product.
4.5 Single-use benefits. Benefits designated as single-use — including the welcome kit, birthday beer, and any member coupon — are redeemed and marked as claimed in Oznr at the time of use. Once marked as claimed, a benefit cannot be reissued, including where it was claimed in error or where the item was not consumed. Birthday benefits are valid during the Member's birthday month and require ID verification.
4.6 Exclusions and stacking. Except as stated in this Section, member discounts may not be combined with other discounts, promotions, happy hour pricing, gift certificates, or event pricing. The member happy hour discount and the 20 oz pour upgrade do combine: a Member ordering an upgrade-eligible beer during member happy hour receives the 20 oz pour at the 14 oz price, less the happy hour discount. The happy hour discount applies to all pours during the applicable window, including 10 oz pours that are not eligible for the 20 oz upgrade. Neither benefit combines with any general-public happy hour or promotional pricing. Benefits do not apply to gift card purchases, gratuity, tax, or third-party vendor sales at brewery events. Unused benefits expire at the end of the membership term, do not carry forward, and may not be exchanged for cash or substituted for other items.
4.7 Changes to benefits. Kuhnhenn may modify, substitute, or discontinue individual benefits during the term where necessary for operational, legal, supply, or regulatory reasons. Where a change materially reduces the value of the published benefits, we will give Members at least fourteen (14) days' notice by email and through the Oznr listing, unless a shorter period is required by law or circumstances beyond our control. A change made under this Section is not grounds for a refund.
5. Member Events and Limited Releases
5.1 Events. Member events may require advance RSVP, may be capacity-limited, and may carry an additional charge. RSVP does not guarantee entry where capacity is exceeded; where an event is oversubscribed, spots are allocated in the order RSVPs were received.
5.2 Early access. Where a benefit provides early or priority access to a release, that access is an opportunity to purchase ahead of general sale. It does not guarantee an allocation, a specific quantity, or availability of any particular product.
5.3 Product availability. Kuhnhenn makes no guarantee that any specific beer, mead, wine, or cider will be produced or available during the membership term. Recipes, packaging, and release schedules are subject to change.
6. Conduct and Responsible Service
6.1 Compliance. Members must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, with all Michigan Liquor Control Commission requirements, and with all posted policies and staff instructions at our taprooms.
6.2 Right to refuse service. Michigan law prohibits the service of alcohol to any person who is visibly intoxicated or under the age of 21. Membership does not modify this obligation. We reserve the right to refuse service to any person, Member or otherwise, who appears intoxicated, cannot produce valid ID, or behaves in a disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful manner.
6.3 Responsibility for guests. Members are responsible for the conduct of any guest they bring to a member event or admit under a guest benefit.
7. Suspension, Revocation, and Discontinuation
7.1 Grounds for revocation. Kuhnhenn may suspend or permanently revoke a membership, without refund, for any of the following:
breach of these Terms;- sharing, lending, reselling, or transferring a membership or its benefits;
- abusive, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory conduct toward staff, Members, or guests;
- willful damage to brewery property;
- fraud, misrepresentation, or a payment chargeback initiated without first contacting us; or
- unlawful conduct on brewery premises.
7.2 Notice. Except where immediate action is necessary for the safety of staff or guests, we will notify the Member by email of a suspension or revocation and the reason for it.
7.3 Cancellation by the Member. A Member may stop using their membership at any time. No refund is due, and the membership expires on its normal end date.
7.4 Discontinuation of the program. If Kuhnhenn permanently discontinues the Mug Club program before the end of the term for reasons other than Member breach, affected Members in good standing will receive a credit toward brewery purchases, prorated for the unused portion of the term. This credit is the sole remedy in these circumstances.
8. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability
8.1 Assumption of risk. Members acknowledge the ordinary risks associated with consuming alcoholic beverages and with handling glassware, including breakage and injury, and accept those risks.
8.2 Limitation. To the fullest extent permitted by Michigan law, Kuhnhenn's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to a membership is limited to the amount of the membership fee paid by the Member for the term in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunity.
8.3 Exceptions. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Communications and Privacy
9.1 Email as primary channel. Email is the primary channel for Mug Club announcements, event invitations, benefit changes, and renewal information. Members are responsible for providing a valid email address and keeping it current in their Oznr account. Kuhnhenn is not responsible for missed communications resulting from an incorrect, full, or filtered email address.
9.2 Use of personal information. We use Member information to administer the membership, verify benefits, and communicate about brewery news and events. We do not sell Member personal information to third parties.
9.3 Platform data. Membership purchase and redemption data is processed through Oznr and is subject to Next Glass, Inc.'s privacy policy and terms of service in addition to these Terms.
9.4 Marketing preferences. Members may opt out of promotional email at any time. Members will continue to receive administrative messages relating to the membership itself, including benefit changes and renewal notices.
9.5 Photography. Photographs and video taken at member events may be used in Kuhnhenn promotional materials. A Member who does not wish to appear should notify staff at the event.
10. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Kuhnhenn is not liable for any delay or failure to provide benefits caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, fire, flood, utility or equipment failure, supply chain disruption, labor shortage, public health measures, or government or regulatory action. Where such circumstances prevent delivery of benefits for a sustained period, we may extend the membership term or provide substitute benefits at our discretion.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms during the membership term. The revised version will be posted on the Oznr listing and at kbrewery.com with an updated revision date. Where an amendment materially affects Member rights, we will notify Members by email at least fourteen (14) days before it takes effect. Continued use of membership benefits after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
12. General
12.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Macomb County, Michigan.
12.2 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
12.3 No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
12.4 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the published benefits list referenced in Section 4.1, constitute the entire agreement between the Member and Kuhnhenn regarding the 2027 Mug Club and supersede all prior representations and agreements on that subject.
12.5 Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
