Kuhnhenn Brewing Company
2027 Growler Club Membership — Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: September 3, 2026 Membership Term: January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027 Last Revised: September 3, 2026
Welcome to the Kuhnhenn Brewing Growler Club. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Member," "you") and Kuhnhenn Brewing Company, LLC ("Kuhnhenn," "we," "us," "our"). Please read them in full before purchasing. By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Memberships are sold and administered through the Oznr platform, operated by Next Glass, Inc. Oznr acts as our sales and redemption platform. This agreement is between you and Kuhnhenn Brewing Company; Oznr is not a party to it.
1. Eligibility
1.1 Age. Members must be 21 years of age or older. A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID is required to purchase a membership and to receive any growler fill or other alcoholic beverage benefit.
1.2 One membership per person. Memberships are personal to the named Member. Each individual may hold one Growler Club membership.
1.3 Oznr account required. Fills and benefits are verified and redeemed through the Oznr app. An active Oznr account registered in the Member's own name is required to hold a membership and receive benefits.
1.4 Discretion. Kuhnhenn reserves the right to decline or cancel any enrollment at our discretion, including where these Terms have previously been breached. Where we decline an enrollment for reasons other than Member breach, the fee will be refunded in full.
2. Term, Enrollment, and Availability
2.1 Membership term. The 2027 membership is valid from January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2027, and expires automatically at the close of business on December 31, 2027.
2.2 Presale and priority access. Memberships are offered first to 2026 Growler Club Members in good standing during a priority window beginning September 3, 2026. Any remaining memberships are released to the general public on September 26, 2026, at the Kuhnhenn Oktoberfest party at the Clinton Township taproom. Priority access is an opportunity to purchase, not a reserved membership; it lapses if not exercised before the general release date.
2.3 Limited availability. The number of memberships is capped. Memberships are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and enrollment closes when the cap is reached.
2.4 Enrollment after January 1, 2027. If memberships remain available after the term begins, they may be sold during the year. A Member enrolling mid-year receives one monthly fill for the month of purchase and for each remaining month of the term; fills for months preceding the purchase date do not accrue. The membership fee is not prorated for a partial year.
3. Fees and Payment
3.1 Membership fee. The 2027 Growler Club membership fee is $190.00, plus applicable Michigan sales tax and Oznr platform fees. The total charged at checkout is shown before you confirm your purchase.
3.2 Payment terms. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase and is processed by Oznr. Kuhnhenn does not store or process your payment card details.
3.3 Non-refundable. Except as expressly stated in Sections 1.4 and 7.4, the membership fee is
non-refundable and non-cancellable, including where a membership is later suspended or revoked, where a Member is unable to use their fills or other benefits, or where benefits are modified under Section 4.8.
3.4 No automatic renewal. Memberships do not auto-renew. No recurring charge is placed on your payment method. Renewal for 2028 requires a new purchase.
3.5 Gift purchases. A membership may be purchased as a gift. The recipient must be 21 or older and must register the membership to their own Oznr account before first use. Once registered, the standard non-transferability rules in Section 4.7 apply.
3.6 No cash value. Memberships, monthly fills, and member benefits carry no cash value and may not be resold, auctioned, traded, or exchanged.
4. Member Benefits
4.1 Welcome kit. Each Member receives one 64 oz Kuhnhenn glass growler and one Kuhnhenn logo pint glass. Both are issued once, at the start of the membership, and must be collected in person at either taproom. Both become the property of the Member. Welcome kit items are issued once per membership and are not replaced if lost, broken, or left behind.
4.2 Monthly fill. Members receive one complimentary 64 oz growler fill in each calendar month of the membership term — twelve fills across the year. A fill accrues on the first day of each calendar month.
4.2.1 Redemption. Fills are redeemed in the Oznr app by Kuhnhenn staff at the time of service. The Member presents the fill in their Oznr account and a member of staff marks it redeemed when the growler is filled. A fill marked redeemed in Oznr cannot be reversed or reissued.
4.3 Carry-over of unused fills. A monthly fill that is not used in the month it accrues remains redeemable for three calendar months after that month, and expires at the end of that period. This window applies to every fill, including those accruing at the end of the term: a fill accruing in December 2027 remains redeemable through March 2028. Redeeming a carried-over fill after December 31, 2027 does not extend the membership or entitle the Member to any other benefit of the term. Fills have no cash value, are not refundable, and do not convert to any other benefit.
4.4 Eligible beer. A monthly fill may be applied to any beer on tap other than those Kuhnhenn designates as excluded. Excluded beers include high-gravity, barrel-aged, limited-release, and specialty offerings. Exclusions are determined by Kuhnhenn, may change during the term, and are posted at the bar. Where a Member wishes to fill an excluded beer, it may be purchased at the standard price, less the discount in Section 4.5.
4.5 Fill and merchandise discounts. Members receive 10% off all additional 64 oz growler fills and 10% off merchandise purchased in our taprooms, for the duration of the term.
4.6 Exclusions and stacking. Member discounts may not be combined with other discounts, promotions, happy hour pricing, gift certificates, or event pricing.
A Member who also holds a Kuhnhenn Mug Club membership receives one 10% merchandise discount, not two; the two discounts do not stack. Mug Club benefits apply to taproom pours and do not apply to growler fills. Discounts do not apply to gift card purchases, gratuity, tax, or third-party vendor sales at brewery events.
4.7 Member must be present; no sharing. Fills and discounts apply only to the registered Member, who must be present and must present their digital membership card on request, together with a valid photo ID. Benefits may not be redeemed by, transferred to, or applied to the purchase of another person. Sharing a membership is grounds for revocation without refund under Section 7.
4.8 Changes to benefits. Kuhnhenn may modify, substitute, or discontinue individual benefits during the term where necessary for operational, legal, supply, or regulatory reasons. Where a change materially reduces the value of the published benefits, we will give Members at least fourteen (14) days' notice by email and through the Oznr listing, unless a shorter period is required by law or circumstances beyond our control. A change made under this Section is not grounds for a refund.
5. Growlers, Sanitation, and Transport
5.1 Container size. The complimentary monthly fill and the discount in Section 4.5 apply to 64 oz containers. Other container sizes are sold at standard prices.
5.2 Right to refuse a container. For reasons of safety, sanitation, and legal compliance, Kuhnhenn may refuse to fill any container that is unclean, chipped, cracked, damaged, missing a cap, or otherwise unsuitable in our judgment. This applies to Kuhnhenn growlers and any other container equally. Because staff redeem the fill only when the growler is filled, a refusal on these grounds does not consume the Member's monthly fill.
5.3 Cleaning. Members are responsible for cleaning and drying their growler between fills. Growlers are filled as presented; Kuhnhenn does not warrant the cleanliness of a Member-supplied container or the condition of beer stored in one.
5.4 Freshness. Growler-filled beer is unpasteurized and best consumed within a few days of filling. Kuhnhenn is not responsible for the quality of beer that has been stored, opened, or handled after leaving our premises.
5.5 Transport. Filled growlers are sealed at the time of fill and must remain sealed during transport. Michigan law governs the transport of open containers in a motor vehicle, and compliance is the Member's responsibility.
5.6 Replacement growlers. Additional or replacement growlers may be purchased at the then-current price. The welcome kit growler in Section 4.1 is issued once per membership.
6. Conduct and Responsible Service
6.1 Compliance. Members must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, with all Michigan Liquor Control Commission requirements, and with all posted policies and staff instructions at our taprooms.
6.2 Right to refuse service. Michigan law prohibits the service of alcohol to any person who is visibly intoxicated or under the age of 21. Membership does not modify this obligation. We reserve the right to refuse service, including a growler fill, to any person who appears intoxicated, cannot produce valid ID, or behaves in a disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful manner.
7. Suspension, Revocation, and Discontinuation
7.1 Grounds for revocation. Kuhnhenn may suspend or permanently revoke a membership, without refund, for any of the following:
breach of these Terms;- sharing, lending, reselling, or transferring a membership, a monthly fill, or its benefits;
- reselling beer obtained through the membership;
- abusive, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory conduct toward staff, Members, or guests;
- willful damage to brewery property;
- fraud, misrepresentation, or a payment chargeback initiated without first contacting us; or
- unlawful conduct on brewery premises.
7.2 Notice. Except where immediate action is necessary for the safety of staff or guests, we will notify the Member by email of a suspension or revocation and the reason for it.
7.3 Cancellation by the Member. A Member may stop using their membership at any time. No refund is due, and the membership expires on its normal end date.
7.4 Discontinuation of the program. If Kuhnhenn permanently discontinues the Growler Club before the end of the term for reasons other than Member breach, affected Members in good standing will receive a credit toward brewery purchases, prorated against the fills remaining unused at that date. This credit is the sole remedy in these circumstances.
8. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability
8.1 Assumption of risk. Members acknowledge the ordinary risks associated with consuming alcoholic beverages and with handling glass containers, including breakage and injury, and accept those risks.
8.2 Limitation. To the fullest extent permitted by Michigan law, Kuhnhenn's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to a membership is limited to the amount of the membership fee paid by the Member for the term in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunity.
8.3 Exceptions. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Communications and Privacy
9.1 Email as primary channel. Email is the primary channel for Growler Club announcements, benefit changes, expiring-fill reminders, and renewal information. Members are responsible for providing a valid email address and keeping it current in their Oznr account. Kuhnhenn is not responsible for missed communications resulting from an incorrect, full, or filtered email address.
9.2 Use of personal information. We use Member information to administer the membership, verify benefits, and communicate about brewery news and events. We do not sell Member personal information to third parties.
9.3 Platform data. Membership purchase and redemption data is processed through Oznr and is subject to Next Glass, Inc.'s privacy policy and terms of service in addition to these Terms.
9.4 Marketing preferences. Members may opt out of promotional email at any time. Members will continue to receive administrative messages relating to the membership itself, including benefit changes and fill expiry notices.
10. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Kuhnhenn is not liable for any delay or failure to provide benefits caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, fire, flood, utility or equipment failure, supply chain disruption, labor shortage, public health measures, or government or regulatory action. Where such circumstances prevent delivery of benefits for a sustained period, we may extend the membership term or provide substitute benefits at our discretion.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms during the membership term. The revised version will be posted on the Oznr listing and at kbrewery.com with an updated revision date. Where an amendment materially affects Member rights, we will notify Members by email at least fourteen (14) days before it takes effect. Continued use of membership benefits after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
12. General
12.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Macomb County, Michigan.
12.2 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
12.3 No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
12.4 Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the published benefits list referenced in the Oznr listing, constitute the entire agreement between the Member and Kuhnhenn regarding the 2027 Growler Club and supersede all prior representations and agreements on that subject.
12.5 Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
